A campus journalist from TCES SPED Center won first place in Newswriting-English category during the Regional Elementary Schools Press Conference held at Kingking, Pantukan, Compostela Valley on December 9-11, 2011.
Johanna Vaughn O. Dejito, a grade six FL pupil is one of the three news writers who will represent Region XI to the National Schools Press Conference at Palawan in April 2012.
During the Regional Schools Press Conference, six sother campus journalists competed since they were qualifiers during the Division Schools Press Conference.
They were Aira Djohannmi H. Burgonio (3rd place Editorial Cartooning English), A’eanie Henrich A. Tan (4th place Photojournalism-Filipino), Junalyn May Capricho (5th place Copyreading and Headline Writing), Dana Mikaela D. Sarcos(5thplace Sportswriting English), Ella Mae G. Bargayo ( 1st place Photojournalism - Filipino) and Al Wilkins Burgos (4th place sports balita).
They were coached by Teacher Eliza E. Valmorida, Teacher Janice C. Abrea, Teacher Scarlet Divina R. Rivera and Teacher Mirasol N. Pantojan. JCA
